Confirmation of Booking

As soon as Athenian Riviera Tours receives your booking//reservation or payment, it is considered confirmed. From this point on, a firm contract exists between you and Athenian Riviera Tours on the basis of these booking conditions and any amendments given to you in writing. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a booking without necessarily giving a reason. 

Payments

All tours must be booked in advance.

No deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. 

Payments must be made in Euros in one of the following ways:

1. Cash upon delivery
2. Credit card
3. PayPal
4. Direct bank transfer

Cancellation

Should an activity have to be canceled, the person who made the booking must notify Athenian Riviera Tours in writing and will be liable to cancellation charges. Cancellation charges are calculated according to the period of notice on the following scale:

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the tour date will receive a full refund of the deposit.

Cancellations made between 72 hours and 24 hours before the tour date will forfeit 50% of the total tour cost.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour date or after the tour departure time will forfeit the total tour cost.

In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., inclement weather, or venue closures), we will do our best to reschedule the tour or offer an alternative experience. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.

We take the day of cancellation as the one on which we receive written confirmation of cancellation. 

Tour Modifications

We understand that plans may change. We will try our best to accommodate any modifications to your tour itinerary, subject to availability and guide schedules.

Any modifications may incur additional charges.

If, after we have issued a confirmation, you want to move from the dates/activity you have booked, we will do our best to accommodate you given reasonable written notice. We will do our best to accommodate your request, however it is subject to availability. 

If Athenian Riviera Tours cancels or alters your booking we will do everything possible to provide arrangements as confirmed, but we reserve the right to modify or cancel any activity if unforeseen circumstances arise. If we have to cancel an activity on which you are booked, we will offer you the choice of an alternative activity or date or a full refund of all payments you have made to Athenian Riviera Tours.

In case of hostilities, political unrest or circumstances amounting to force majeure, our decision whether or not to run a particular activity will be in accordance with advice issued by the Greek Ministry of Interior and may be made at any time prior to departure.

We reserve the right to cancel the participation in the activity of any client whose behavior is, in the opinion of a representative of Athenian Riviera Tours, causing excessive distress, damage, or compromising the safety of the guide or others on the tour. Our responsibility for that client will cease immediately and no compensation will be paid for any loss.

Alterations to Routes

We reserve the right to make alterations to routes related to tours to take account of local conditions and circumstances.

Prices

Prices listed on our website are subject to change without notice.

The final price of your tour will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Prices do not include gratuities for your guide.

Complaints

Should you have any complaints please notify Athenian Riviera Tours. As we are committed to you enjoying your activity, we welcome all comments and take all complaints seriously.

Limitation of Liability

Athenian Riviera Tours acts as an organizer and facilitator for your tour experience. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during the tour.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Athenian Riviera Tours, its owners, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your participation in our tours.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of Greece.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of these terms and conditions will be resolved through amicable negotiation. If a solution cannot be reached, the dispute will be settled by a court of competent jurisdiction in Greece.

Additional Information

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.

By booking a tour with Athenian Riviera Tours, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.

Additional Notes:

Reservation cut-off time: 48 hours before your desired tour date. Bookings cannot be accepted within 48 hours of the tour.

No-shows: If you do not show up for your tour without prior cancellation, you will be charged the full amount of the tour.

PERSONAL DATA

Data We Collect

Online reservation procedure

Guests of third party websites are asked to give personal data in order to complete their online reservations. The data they are asked to give are upon the administrator – controller of the system.

Data given automatically

There are many instances that we get data automatically. Such data are: IP address, type of device, location, date and time of accessing our system, pages that are visited and clicked, from which website someone came to our system, browser that is used, software that is used in the device or computer.

Data given from other sources

Our booking engines are integrated with other websites (online wholesalers, Online Travel Agents, etc) who are giving data about completed reservations. The data are used from controllers (administrators) for managing purposes.

Data we share with others

We share the above personal data with third party systems for basic purposes of completing an online reservation. For example, we use a third party mail provider for security reasons (to avoid emails going to spam). Our systems are cloud and we use hosting services of Amazon.com (https://aws.amazon.com/security/) . In addition in some instances we share data with third party systems for managing or accounting purposes of the controller (administrator). Also we share data with banks and online payment gateways for successful secure transactions.
